Title: Cabin Fever?
Post by: Guest on January 29, 2008, 12:01:27 PM
Trying to indure another U.P. winter, I find myself pouring through spring seed catalogs hoping to remind myself \"spring is coming, really\".  I just wanted to share a couple of pics of my cockerel that my frizzle hatched this summer.  He is a Buff Orp roo X Blue Wheaten hen cross (accidental).  I know he\'s a mutt but has a couple of neat features.  Just wanted to share to relieve boredom!

Hey Mark, sounds like you still have the blue wheaten female you got from me in Bay City!
Gosh, I thought we had been having some cold weather - sure am glad I\'m not wading in the snow you have!

Kinda looks like the black tailed buff bantams we were getting years ago.
We had two warm 40+ degree days here in mid Michigan, but it\'s supposed to drop 30 degrees tonight and only be in the teens tomorrow.  I took advantage of the weather and cleaned all the coops and also put together all the matings for the upcoming hatching season.  I\'ll sleep good tonight.

You are correct! Yup, he\'s her kid (although she has never claimed him!)
