Hello im Telah, im 16 and i would love to breed black \"true\" Modern Araucanas. i know im only 16 but im going to a school that i love and it has classes just for chickens and other farm things.  Im also in the FFA... http://www.ffa.org/  i got a Black Male no-tuffed, rumples chick and fell in love with him and his breed. Now i want to breed him with some Females, but i cant seem to find any true araucanas in Connaticut. can you please help me in anyway? well thanks for reading my post and i hope u can help me out.

You might want to try the Araucana Breeders Club at araucana.net as most here breed ameraucanas.

There are some black araucana hatching eggs for sale on eggbid.

PS Try to contact our member \"wilds of pa\" as they breed araucanas as well as ameraucanas.

ok thanks jean, im also thinking of geting some ameraucanas i got one last year and i love her she is a silver mix. and if anyone is willing to help me out they can help by geting me a silver roo and a couple of hens too i want to be a breeder of black araucanas and silver ameraucanas.

I do not currently have any large fowl silver available, but I may in late May.

They will range from $10.00-$35.00 depending on the quality of the bird.
