I noticed there are 2 Lemon Blue roos with many Ameraucana traits advertised at http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=4622861&lpid=&cat=113. If anyone is interested in developing that color, contact the seller QUICKLY because they are going to butcher the roos if not sold soon.

What would you breed these to in order to develop the color? I have a blue and a splash pullet which are both very nice.
What are the genetics of a lemon blue?
Thanks,
Danielle in Utah (Who has sent an e-mail to the lady who posted the add, just in case!)

PS - would you get both (including the one with the single comb)? Or just the one with the pea comb?

Lemon blue is essentially the \"blue\" version of brown red according to the Old English folks. I have a lemon blue Old English and his half Ameraucana daughter is a quite nice brown red . . . she just needs more Ameraucana blood.
