I entered but I haven\'t a clue if what I found is show quality. I found two black pullets and some blues... I can show some that look like brown/reds. I\'ll see you there.

Have fun!

Well, I never saw Christina, but I saw her cockerel. What a handsome lad! I sold a lot of my solid birds, so it was a good day for me, too.
I never have a problem selling my color culls at home, but danged if I didn\'t get rather attached to my \"show birds\" hanging out with them all day.
-
They had a pigeon show there for the first time, too. That\'s a dangerous place to visit. I accidently bought a pair of archangel gold blackwings... ^_^
-
I didnt see the pigeons till the last day :p
Well my boy did good.......actually should I say Jeans boy did good BB. It was a great show with lots of competition.
Maybe next year you can run me down and say hi.

BB in a large class is a very nice accomplishment. Congratulations! Will there be any pictures?

I took some pictures of the bantams, but something must have distracted me when I went down to the large fowl to take photos. I only have one large fowl photo of a huge blue bird that was entered as a Blue Wheaten, but wasn\'t. I was surprised to find out I didn\'t have any other LF photos. I HATE getting old!

Here are the winners in the solid colors that I brought to sell.
-
I should add that the wheaten hen behind the white took Best Of Breed for the bantam Ameraucanas. I thought I had taken her own photo... I meant to.
I was REALLY tired after getting up in the middle of the night to load chickens, drive a couple of hours and then running back and forth between buildings all day - so much to see!
I might do it again. I just grabbed random chickens out of my grow pen and breeding pens the night before and they still looked OK - all but the brown reds seemed to have a good time.
I sold most of the birds I brought. It was a good way to promote the breed. I was happy and the buyers were happy.
It might also be a good way to test temperment. I did not even suspect that two of the brown reds, caged at opposite ends of the building would never settle down and kept pacing and fluttering. They will go into my Easter Egger sale pen. They were the only birds that didn\'t sell at the show.

Christina~ Congrats on another successful show!

Thanks Mike and Sara!!! I did get BB and RB pictures. The pullet (?) was such a sweetie and just wanted me to pick her up lol. That is the best picture I got. Sorry!
