Brown Red Large Fowl

It looks like I will have some surplus large fowl brown reds available this summer/fall as have a decent looking group in the grow pens.   I can deliver to the Michigan show and the national meet in Frankfort, Ky.   Also to the Wisconsin show in Portage in late September.   These have nice temperaments and will have decent coloring, but are a bit on the small side.
Buyers might want to cross them with blacks to improve the size - that is what I plan to do next year.   Buyers should also know that certain matings will throw a small percentage of buff columbians.   There is a fair amount of variability in the coloring of brown reds, so I make it a practice to mate over laced birds with underlaced birds.   These are out of nicely colored eggs and the line produces pretty good layers of medium sized eggs.  If anyone is interested they can e-mail me at:  ameraucana@redstagacres.com .
