I know this won\'t look like much to you guys up north, but we got 5\" of snow yesterday. This is the second snow in 2 weeks, and we rarely see ANY.

The horses took it in stride - they grew up in Northern VA:

Little one loves the snow. Buddy Goat not so much, but he does love attention:

The male pheasant seems to like it:

His mate thinks he\'s nuts:

Chickens wouldn\'t even come out:

It\'s 14 degrees here right now.  I have been wearing cleats on my boots for the last week so I don\'t fall and break my behind.

I would love to see some snow because that would mean it was going to warm up a bit.

That golden female is the smart one!

Thank goodness for global warming.  I don\'t know where we would be without it?

Thanks, Jeanine!

Jean: I remember those days! I\'ve been down here 13 years but I still have my cleats - and my snow shoes - just in case I ever move back home.

Unfortunately, 5 inches of snow have now given way to 12 inches of mud. Can\'t quit figure out that math...
