Sooo disappointed!  The Sandlappers Poultry Association (my local poultry club) can't get the LF show cages they've used in the past and are just doing bantams for this fall show.

My show season is crumbling.

This is really unfortunate for their club and the ABC meet.  There is another show in SC that does not allow Large Fowl because they only have cages for bantams.  Obviously its not as much a problem for some breeds.  But with Ameraucanas LF are exhibited more than bantams.  They have a nice show hall and operated a nice show.  I hope they can get some LF cages for their dates again next year.

Yes, I wish I had known this before I requested a meet there.   Now, there won't be any Ameraucanas entered, I don't think.

I'm still going, because I'm delivering some birds, but it will just be down and back for me.
