Well, I still have my membership form on my desk to the right of me, so I\'m not an actual paying member as of yet, but I was wondering about this show.

Is this a good show, and have you ever had a meet there?

April 3, 2010 ~ El Dorado, Arkansas, South Central Regional Classic, South Arkansas Poultry Club.   Judges: Tommy Lee, Georgia & Danny Padgett, Oklahoma.  Contact: Bill and Debbie Atwood, 1557 Grant 73, Sheridan, AR 72150.  Phone: 870-942-7361, email: bildeb@windstream.net

I was thinking that one was over 2 hours from here, but I googled it and it\'s only 1 & 1/2 hours from the farm, so I think I\'ll try to make it whether I have anything to show or not.

This one is written down as May 2009 but I think they mean May 2010, because tentative date is May 1, which is on Saturday in 2010.

Little Rock, Arkansas, Arkansas State Fairgrounds.    Premiums will be offered.  Contact: Allison, allison@asfg.net

Ok, just found it listed again with a tentative date of May 8, 2010.

Also mentions it\'s the 2nd annual.

I actually did go to the Nov 7th show. It was really good for my first time.

I would go to the ones in Arkansas. I didn\'t see those.
Thanks

What are the guidelines for requesting a meet?  What are the responsibilities of the person who makes the request?  Who gets in touch with show management and who helps at the show?  Is there a minimum committment required of ameraucana exhibitors prior to the show?  Are sponsors other than ABC needed?  How far in advance of the show should a meet request be made?

Ameraucana Breeders Club members send the meet request to Club Secretary/Treasurer (Michael@bantamhill.com). A meet request may be found at the following link on the club website: http://www.ameraucana.org/download.html.

At minimum I need the show secretary or superintendent\'s contact information to place meet. If you know the show name, but no other information I can generally find the contact information for the show.
