This might sound like a dumb question but here it goes. Can you get a blue out of two blacks. I have a black cock  on 3 black hens and 1 blue hen but most of the hatch was blue.

I had a very dark blue roo that I thought was black until I looked closer.

I don\'t have a photo of him, but here is my current splash roo that I thought was blue for the longest time.

He is definitely a black and the hens are also.

Could the blue hen be a dark splash?
