Who is planning on attending/ showing at these locations?

Hi Don

I was thinking of going to one or more of these shows, but I'm not bringing anything to show.  This year was a disaster for breeding, so I'll be keeping everyone home until next spring.

Glad to hear some folks are coming out to the Winston-Salem show especially.  How can you resist the home of Krispy Kreme and Texas Pete, not to mention a few other products.  It is known as the Camel City too.  John Marshall usually shows as well as a few others from central NC.  Beth, see if you can enter some birds in the open show too, maybe some bantams also?  I would like to see the junior birds judged in the open show too but that might take some time to change.

Jeff, bring as many as you can.  All the birds are still trying to finish feather so don't worry so much about the condition.  Hopefully Susan can make it and we can all talk a bit about some shows for next year too.
It might be helpful to get several locations on the books so folks can plan.

The Smithfeild show should be well attended also, so plan now.  There is still plenty of time to get an entry ready.

I have emailed Mark East twice for show information for the Winston Salem show 11/29 & haven't gotten any reply. Is there a generic entry form I'm supposed to know about? It will be my first show. I have read all I could about showing on the forum, but I still have questions about health regulations & the times to get there and to leave.
Thank you

Maggie,  Mark is usually pretty quick to respond.  You may have been slotted into spam. I will send you an email that Mark sent me this week with an attachment. In-state Birds can be Tested by the state folks as you enter the show or with testing papers within 90 days.  I think outofstate birds have to have tests within 21days if I remember correctly. I can send health regs to anyone interested or just search for nc ag poultry show rules.  Please let me know if you have additional questions.   Looking forward to meeting you there.
