Black Cockerel with black and yellow legs (bantams)

We have a young (6-7 months) black cockerel that is getting to be good type. Tail is carried little (50ish) high, wings often carried with tip down, not sure if above hocks.  He likes to strut!  Green sheen, comb not bad-
His shanks and part of the tops of his feet are black. Looks black, not green. However part of feet and the bottom are definitely yellow.  This is, of course, the only black male we have.  We have one black pullet with black legs and white feet.  We do have a nice blue male.  The male is from a different breeder than the female.
1.  If we mate the black to black would all of the offspring be carriers for yellow feet/legs even if some/all had white   feet/legs?  If we kept better typed from this mating, we could expect 1/4 to be "pure" for white  feet/legs?  Or is there more than one gene involved?
In theory, after 4 generations, we should be able to eliminate the yellow?
2.  If we mate the black female to the blue, we should get 1/2 blue and 1/2 black, right?

Thank you for your help.

If the rooster has yellow foot bottoms he also has yellow skin.   For the good of the breed, cull him.  Yellow skinned birds will throw that gene to 100% of their offspring.   They won't necessarily show it, but they will all be carriers.   Because somebody didn't cull when they should have, that is why you have an issue today.   Black roosters are not that hard to come by.
Yes, blue to black theoretically yields about half of each.   That does not mean they will necessarily be good blues or good blacks, but for the basic colors, yes.
