Wisconsin State Meet

The Coulee Region Poultry Club show, to be held June 6th, 2015, will host the Wisconsin State ABC Meet this year.   I'm not sure if this is official yet, but our Director, Duane Schroeder, has indicated it is a go.   We typically have quite a few Ameraucanas shown in both large fowl and bantams, so come to the beautiful Coulee Country in early June and have a fun weekend.   It is a one day show, and we usually release the birds around 3:30 to 4 p.m.    We have a swap area, on site camping, junior showmanship, lunch stand on the grounds, raffle, silent auction, and lots of awards.    But book your motel early, as there is only one right in town, Galesville, Wisconsin.   Anyone needing a show catalog or more information can contact yours truly.

Yes Mike, we are all set for the 2015 Wisconsin State Meet. It will be added to the website list of meets soon.  As I reported in our 2014 Fall Bulletin, this is an excellent show in a charming Midwest city.  I hope many of our members join you this year.

Thank you Duane and Susan.    Our local poultry club has a website where the show catalog will be posted too.   http://couleeregionpoultryclub.webs.com/     If you scroll down just a bit on our home page you will see examples of the unique coasters we offer for certain awards.   They are made of the counter top material corian and are practically indestructible.

Mike, do you want to have the club's website, and a link to it, included on the Meet listing?  I do have a link to the Poultry Show Central page for this show, but can add another, if you like. (just click on the club name)

Good idea, let's do it if not too much trouble.
