I am an artist in San Francisco putting together a show at the Playspace Gallery at California College of the Arts, and would like to feature show chickens with their owners for an evening.   The gallery is primarily visited by artists, collectors and students who are not familiar with these spectacular breeds and of the popularity of raising and showing specialty chickens.

Is it possible to host an event for your club?  Would there be interest from your members in showing and explaining the various types of chickens, what is desirable and different between breeds and possibly the history of show chickens to a group of artists and students?

Do you know of clubs or organizations located around the San Francisco Bay area?
