Meet Requests and Meet Reports
« on: November 11, 2016, 12:14:04 PM »
In going through the Meet Reports and getting caught up with them, there are a couple of things I've noticed.

Meet Requests

We had a couple of meet reports that came in, where no meet had been requested.  Please understand and follow the ABC stated meet request policy:

Any member can request a meet, in any district.  Please contact the District Director for that area, and request the meet.  It would be best if this is done, at a minimum, of 30 days before the entries for that meet are closed.  This gives time for the District Director to gets things coordinated with the show secretary, and get the hosted meet listed in the show catalog.

The DD is then responsible for getting the meet request form completed and it, along with copies of the meet reports, forwarded to the show secretary and to our Meets Coordinator, Temple DaSilva, at meets@ameraucanabreedersclub.org.  We have tried to accommodate late requests, and assist with document delivery, but please be aware that meet reports that are sent in, with no meet request on file, will not be accepted and the points will not count.

Meet Reports

We have quite a few incomplete meet reports; some with only a part of the show complete, some with no names, etc.  We understand that show secretaries have a lot on their plates and have, with that in mind, agreed to accept member's meet reports.  But, they must be complete meet reports - not just your entries, your wins, or your classes.  We appreciate our members taking the time to do meet reports and appreciate your consideration in submitting complete reports.

The Ameraucana Breeders Club is growing - we've just passed the 300 member mark! - and as we grow, the job of Secretary and Meets Coordinators grows, as well.  Please help us keep the records accurate and timely for everyone.

Thank you

Susan
