Egg Contest

Here is a reminder to all readers  to not forget the blue egg contest at the national meet this weekend.   Same rules as last year, bring just six of your fresh, clean, shapely blue eggs, as uniform as possible.   Dress them up in your own container, or use one of the containers we will bring for the occasion.  There is no entry fee, and prizes will be awarded in four categories.   They are:  large fowl hen, large fowl pullet, bantam hen, and bantam pullet.    I will not be entering, as somebody has to judge and I was nominated.   Pre-register the eggs at the club table first thing after cooping in Saturday morning.   See you there!
