Just want to bring this to everyone\'s attention as it is coming very soon. I know that Anthony and Randy Garner plan to attend/show large fowl wheatens/blue wheatens and possibly bring stock for sale.  I will show and have a few  large fowl wheaten cockerels for sale. Anyone else planning to join us?

Barbara,
I\'m already committed for the Minnesota show at Hutchinson that same weekend.   But say hello to Tom Kane, one of the judges, for me as he is a fellow member of the Chantecler club and I spoke with him not long ago.   Good luck and have a good time!  We\'ll be looking for your report.

We are planning on coming in 2010, when it is the National meet.  Don\'t have much to show this year, due to selling so many of them as day olds.

Just home from our district meet and I\'m so excited I can hardly stand it!  A wheaten pullet from Randy and Anthony Garner breeding which I hatched and raised, took Champion AOSB. The competition wasn\'t huge but she did win over a couple of other breeds, with a black sumatra taking Reserve AOSB.

I enjoyed meeting fellow members Craig McDonald and Dennis Robinson and aplaud the Bluegrass Poultry Club for putting on a great show and for going the extra mile in giving beautiful breed specific plates for awards.

Congratulations Barb, nice going!   It must have been a good weekend for wheatens, as one of my bantam cockerels went best AOCCL at the Minnesota state show at Hutchinson.

Thank you verycherry for the pix resizer!  I\'d wanted to post the pic of the champion AOSB after the meet but couldn\'t get the picture small enough with paint so gave up. She\'s not in the best pose, would have liked her to hold her tail up. Oh well.
