Don't buy chicks from Tractor Supply Co

I know our members know TSC sells mongrel chicks as Ameraucanas every spring, but many non-members also come here and read these topics. 

Tractor Supply Company and most other feed stores that have CHICK DAYS are pawning off mixed breed chicks as Ameraucanas.  It is truly false advertising and they get away with it year after year. 

Please post the truth wherever you can and email comments to TSC.

My local tractor supply does not carry the easter eggers. You have to order them and i talked to them a lot since i buy feed there every week. They give some people my name and number and it works out great since i do not have to ship. Some other people just don't care if the birds are pure breed or not. I agree though that they are miss leading people and they shouldn't. I think Ebay is the biggest problem though. They will have like a white hen and a blue hen and a blue wheaten rooster over them and post that they are show quality birds. They will even try to sell the eggs for a lot of money to make people think they are going to get good birds.
