Great News for 2015 Ameraucana National Meet

  Great news from Jacob Bates came Monday after the show-2015 will be a two-day double judged show instead of squeezing it into one.

Sounds good Paul.  Please keep us posted on info as you work out the details.  I was able to get one of the show bulletins to open, but I'm sure things will change especially since it's a two day show.

Where did you stay and do you recommend the same hotel for next year? 
Do they have camping on the fairgrounds and if so what are the prices, services available?

This is good news! There were several folks that said they wouldn't do two shows in one day, so maybe this will encourage those folks to come. 

With dog shows, someone usually gets in touch with the local hotels to get show discounts for anyone attending the shows - does that happen with chicken shows? Or can someone make some recommendations for accommodations near the show site?

Paul is working on a deal for a discount on 20 rooms for ABC members at the Comfort Inn, which is only about 4 miles from the show.  We stayed there.  It was a very nice room with a good free breakfast.  They have an indoor heated pool, but we didn't get time to enjoy it, but will in 2015 since we will be staying both Friday and Saturday night.  There were a group of tents set-up on the fairgrounds-could have been a boy scout's group.  I'll check for RV hookups and price.
