reducing feed cost

Pauls advice on growing watermellons made me think that now would be a good time for those who have land/space to learn about raising poultry on pasture. I have about 100 on mixed pasture that is overseeded with crimson clover and they do very well on it. I do feed grain and mix, but at a very reduced rate.

Another easy to seed thing you can throw out when your garden is winding down this fall is radishes ... they LOVE them.
